The Cost of Braces — It’s More Affordable Than You Think!

A beautiful smile shouldn’t break the bank. That’s why we work with our patients to make braces affordable. Here are just a few ways you can save money:

0% Financing — You read right! We can set you up with a low monthly payment plan that’s 100% interest-free. No surprises. Just the cost of treatment and nothing more.

Family Discounts — We offer discounts for siblings who get braces. But what about mom or dad? If your child gets braces and you decide you want them too, we’ll offer you a discount as well — that’s what we call keeping it in the family!

Free Consultation — A complimentary visit can save money in a couple of ways.

  • We recommend your child visit an orthodontist by the age of 7. Our orthodontist can tell you if your child needs what we call Phase One treatment. Undergoing Phase One early can save you money by preparing your child’s teeth for braces later.
  • As part of your child’s free consultation, we will take photos and x-rays, a value of over $300. These will help us determine if and when your child should start treatment with braces. We will then discuss cost with you and payment plans that best fit your budget. Best of all, we’ll give you the option of starting treatment the same day.

Start early — With many medical conditions, early intervention is key. The same is true with braces. If you can get your child into an expander at the right age, the final costs and needs when they are older may be minimized. Schedule a consultation when your child’s 6-year-old molars and permanent teeth start coming in to find out whether there are problems that need to be fixed sooner rather than later.

Health Insurance — Your dental or health insurance company may cover a percentage of the cost or a specific dollar amount for braces. We’ll speak to your insurance provider and let you know exactly what it does and doesn’t cover.

FSA — Did you know you can pay for braces with funds from your employer-sponsored flexible spending account? An FSA is a “use it or lose it” type of account. If you don’t spend these pre-tax dollars before the end of the year, you can kiss that money good-bye. Take advantage of your FSA and save up to 37% on braces, depending on your tax bracket.

Payment in Full — We offer a 5% discount for cash payment in full at the first visit. (For self-pay patients only. Cannot be combined with any other discount.)
